PVC Plumbing, Conduit and Metal Conduit Increases

Mills and manufacturers of commodity pipe products and other building materials are working to produce during a time of limited availability of raw materials and increasing costs of freight. Below is a list of upcoming price increases being implemented by mills. Please call your Merfish United representative for more information or to place orders.

PVC Pipe Increase 8/2:

Because of increasing raw materials costs stemming from disruptions in the supply chain and higher freight costs, PVC pipe mills have announced a price increase taking effect on Monday, 8/2. We will be uploading a new list price by Monday morning. Please call your Merfish United representative for more information or to place orders.

PVC Conduit Increase 8/2:

Because of increasing freight costs and limited availability, and the rising cost of raw materials, PVC conduit manufacturers are implementing a price increase this Monday, 8/2.

Metal Conduit Increase 8/2:

Due to the limited availability and rising cost of rolled steel, metal conduit manufacturers have announced a price increase of about 5% going into effect this Monday, 8/2.

Threaded Rod Increase Possible in August:

Like other commodity pipe products and building materials, Threaded rod has not been immune to the current supply limitations in the market. Because of rising raw materials cost, there may be a price increase sometime in August.
